We are seeking a highly motivated Automation Tester to join our mobile team situated in Aalborg, Denmark. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for defining requirements with test scenarios for our mobile app from Aalborg or remotely.

We are seeking a highly motivated Automation Tester to join our mobile team situated in Aalborg, Denmark. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for defining requirements with test scenarios for our mobile app from Aalborg or remotely. Additionally, you will conduct exploratory testing of the mobile app to identify defects and opportunities for improvement. The successful candidate will also be responsible for automating the tests and ensuring that our mobile app is thoroughly tested before deployment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Define testing scenarios in a natural language
  • Verify the acceptance criteria of new features and bug fixes
  • Perform manual testing of user scenarios
  • Automate scenarios and include them in our continuous integration pipelines
  • Test on thousands of real devices in cloud
  • Perform manual exploratory testing of mobile app to identify defects and areas for improvement
  • Ensure that the mobile app is thoroughly tested before deployment
  • Collaborate with the mobile team to identify and resolve issues
  • Document and report defects in a clear and concise manner
  • Continuously improve the testing process and methodology


Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in web development or test automation
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
  • Curiosity about technology and how users use it
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies and principles
  • Experience with exploratory testing techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of Gherkin syntax and experience using Cucumber or similar tools (nice to have)
  • Experience writing automation tests for mobile apps (nice to have)
  • Experience with frameworks such as WebDriver.io is not required but is a plus
