Installation & Configuration
The PrintVis integration is installed from Microsoft AppSource and configured directly in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
After installation, setup follows a clear structure:
- ▪️Create assets in Dynaway EAM that represent PrintVis Cost Centers
- ▪️Define the asset type as Cost Center and link it 1:1 to the corresponding PrintVis record
- ▪️Enable maintenance request creation directly from PrintVis role centers
- ▪️Configure users and roles so operators, planners, and maintenance teams can interact with assets without leaving PrintVis
Once configured, maintenance requests, work orders, downtime, and capacity blocking are automatically connected to PrintVis planning.
This setup ensures maintenance and production remain aligned without duplicating data or disrupting existing PrintVis workflows.
