Novation iQ using EAM for IT Help Desk

The plant maintenance team at Novation IQ is in the process of deploying Dynaway’s EAM in their Microsoft Dynamic AX 2012 environment. During the workshop and solutioneering process, the IT team expressed the need for an IT Help Desk that is more tightly integrated with their AX environment.
Dynaway, working closely with Novation IQ IT team, structured EAM to:

  • Centrally document service requests tickets
  • Easily plan & track tickets
  • Assign Assets
  • Set expectations
  • Categorize priority levels
  • Use data in AX to check availability of Human Resources
  • Track warranties on IT Equipment

In the future, Novation IQ can use Dynaway EAM in their Data Center to manage maintenance on transfer switches, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), power distribution units (PDU), computer room air conditioners (CRAC), fire protection systems, access control systems, cooling towers, generators and condensers.
