Ready for AX7?

Microsoft has selected Dynaway as one of the very few Dynamics AX solution providers that will be allowed to publish an AX7 based solution on the Azure Marketplace.

Besides being in the forefront in regards to AX7 readiness, Dynaway is at current the only ISV capable of delivering an extension model for AX7. The key difference between extension models and overlay models is that extension models can be deployed without any code merge, as extension models are not technically allowed to make any changes to standard Dynamics AX elements.

It is generally expected that Microsoft at some point in the future will disallow overlay models as it fundamentally breaks some of the key advantages of cloud based solutions, one being automatic Microsoft forced kernel and application updates.
