Configuration control

It is imperative that the products you quote can actually be manufactured. That is why VinCAD provides the possibility to setup configuration rules for your products, such as:

• Constraints on size or weight
• Constraints on valid selections for e.g. different product types
• Constraints on combinations of e.g. frame and sash, glass and glazing beads, profile and color, etc.

The configuration rules are easily created and maintained by the manufacturer.

Configurations are evaluated instantly whenever changes are made to the design, and if the rules are violated the user gets a warning message.

Furthermore, the valid options are presented top of the list to the user when configuring the element.
