Advanced features

VinCAD provides a number of advanced features, that are very useful for window and door manufacturers.

Alignment of profiles

In many cases it is required that the profiles within an element are aligned with each other. With VinCAD it is easy to set this up, and let VinCAD “do the math”.

With VinCAD you can also define profiles in one product to be aligned with profiles in another product, for example the muntins in one window should be aligned with the muntins in another window.

Selecting parts of an element

It is possible to select or de-select parts of a product, in such a way, that only the selected parts are included in the BOM. The graphic display also reflects that only parts of the product are included. This feature can be used for e.g. service orders, claims, etc.

User rights

VinCAD includes facilities to control the rights for individual users, such as e.g. limiting what a user can edit when products are configured.
