Dynaway BLUE FAQ
Q: After installation of Dynaway Blue, when I try to open a Blue client, I see a configuration error message: “An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file…”, why? A: The .NET Framework installed on the Blue server is not the correct version. You must update the Blue website to an application pool running .NET Framework 4.0.
Q: When I open a Blue client, I see the following message: “The client could not start because there are no more Blue licenses available.” What is wrong? A: Check that you have inserted Blue license information in Dynamics AX. If license information has been entered in the “Blue License” form, you may have exceeded the number of Blue licenses purchased by your company.
Q: I added a new Blue client, but I can’t see it in the “Blue Clients” form in Dynamics AX, why?
A: The client’s machine name must be unique. Check the machine name of the client. It can be created from a factory image and therefore share the machine name with other clients from the same image.
Q: How do I set the language to be used on a Blue client?
A: Blue uses the local language from the client. The supported languages are English and Danish. Blue will use English as the standard language if the local language is not supported. If required, we can deliver a file for translation to other languages.
